Job Overview

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

Team Description
We've recently relaunched LinkedIn Learning as LinkedIn Learning Career Hub, expanding our enterprise product to help 35M+ employees across the globe explore career paths and make progress on their goals within their organization - while simultaneously helping employers develop their workforce to better navigate the impact of AI on how we all work.

Internal Talent Mobility
As the engineering manager for the Internal Talent Mobility team, you will lead strategic development and execution of a roadmap focused on connecting employees to internal opportunities like jobs and projects. In addition to our emergent internal jobs and project feature portfolios, you'll also be responsible for scaling our recently launched marquee enterprise featureset 'Talent Architecture Builder', which connects Career Hub with Employer HRIS data systems - allowing us to bring in the richness of employee data and LinkedIn's economic graph together to create rich, organizationally aware career advancement experiences for employees that are anchored in real world trends and data tailored to their organization.

  • You will participate with senior management in developing a long-term technology roadmap.
  • You will be a role model and professional coach for engineers with a strong bias for action and focus on craftsmanship.
  • You will work with peers across teams to support and leverage a shared technical stack.
  • You will manage teams to scale distributed applications, make architectural trade-offs applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, review code, and deliver with speediness and quality.
  • You will develop multi-tier scalable, high-volume performing, and reliable user-centric applications that operate 24x7.
  • You will produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
