We are looking for a Techno-Functional QA Senior Engineer to join our Finance Engineering team. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and integrity of financial systems and their integrations. You will partner closely with engineering, product, and finance teams to validate complex business workflows and deliver high-quality, reliable releases.

 

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end testing strategy and quality validation for Oracle EBS QTC systems and integrations.

  • Validate Quote-to-Cash workflows, including:

    • Quote creation, pricing, and approvals

    • Order management and fulfillment lifecycle

    • Billing and invoice generation

    • Cash application and collections

    • Revenue recognition and reporting

  • Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and consistency across systems, including validation between Order Management, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.

  • Validate pricing, discounting, tax calculations, and billing logic across complex transactional scenarios.

  • Test and validate integrations with external systems, including:

    • Order capture and CRM platforms

    • Checkout and payment processors

    • Billing and revenue systems

  • Perform API testing, SQL-based backend validation, and data reconciliation across upstream and downstream systems.

  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks (UI, API, and data layers) integrated with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Validate high-volume transactional systems impacting revenue, ensuring performance, reliability, and correctness.

  • Follow established change, release, and deployment governance, ensuring appropriate test coverage and quality gates.

  • Conduct test reviews, defect triaging, and root cause analysis to maintain high-quality standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Finance, Operations) to ensure end-to-end validation of financial workflows.

  • Support production validation, monitoring, and post-deployment verification to ensure ongoing system reliability.

  • Drive continuous improvement through test optimization, automation, monitoring, and reduction of manual validation efforts.

  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements by validating audit trails, reconciliation processes, and revenue accuracy.
