We are seeking extraordinary talent to innovate, design, and build integrations serving both internal HR applications and external systems. This hands-on technical role demands a strong analytical, data modeling and programming background. Preferred candidates will have experience designing and developing complex Workday integrations and APIs between HR applications and third-party systems (ADP and other Payroll systems, Compensation and Benefit systems, SmartRecruiters or ATS systems, Active Directory, Sailpoint, etc.)

This role will be based in Bangalore, India.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

Responsibility:

  • Develop, test, and implement robust Workday integrations that meet business needs.

  • Analyze business and functional requirements, create comprehensive technical design documents, and deliver integrations that are thoroughly unit-tested, code-reviewed, and seamlessly deployed.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Payroll, Finance, Sales Ops, Facilities, Enterprise Productivity Engineering to streamline and automate data delivery and synchronization among enterprise applications

  • Facilitate requirements gathering and process mapping workshops, review business/functional requirement documents, author technical design documents, test plans, support plans and produce high quality integrations 

  • Regularly monitor and troubleshoot existing Workday integrations, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and compliance with organizational policies.

  • Operate with a high degree of agility, producing top-quality deliverables while managing tasks independently.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to enhance system capabilities.

  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and automated error-handling frameworks across all Workday integrations to minimize pipeline downtime.

  • Enforce strict data privacy, encryption, and governance standards across all integration pipelines handling sensitive PII, HR, and financial data.

  • Innovate for the future and evaluate new Platforms, develop Proof of concepts, pave for continuous improvements on the technology stack (such as on Workday Extend platforms, Cloud Integration tools and systems.) to ensure the technology solutions leverage cutting edge integration capabilities
