Job Overview

A career with Lisinski Law Firm means more than fulfilling a role — it means becoming part of a unified mission to “Change as Many Lives as Possible.”

At Lisinski Law Firm, we are united by a shared purpose and driven by a commitment to making a difference. Since our founding in 2020 by Angel Lisinski, our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to keep families together — often stepping in when others have turned clients away.

About the Role

As our HR Generalist (International/EOR), you’ll support remote team members across multiple countries hired through Rippling’s Employer of Record (EOR) model. You’ll be their trusted HR partner, answering questions, guiding them through policies and benefits, and helping them navigate every stage of the employee journey.

You’ll work closely with HR Managers to support employee relations conversations and investigations, keep policies up to date, and ensure a smooth onboarding and offboarding experience. You’ll also collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and HR Data teams to strengthen processes and help our HR function scale as the firm grows.

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM EST

Your Key Contributions:

  1. Serve as a point of contact for team members and leaders, addressing HR-related questions regarding policies, timekeeping, payroll, benefits, and procedures for countries with international / remote EOR team members.
  2. Assist in employee relations matters by conducting investigations including interviewing team members, documenting issues, and escalating concerns when necessary.
  1. Serve as a backup for onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes when needed to ensure a seamless team member experience, including facilitation of new hire orientation, review of onboarding materials, and conducting exit interviews.
  1. Maintain and update records in HRIS system by performing data entry and recordkeeping duties, tracking changes, and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  1. Collaborate with HR leadership to implement and support policies, events/programs, initiatives, and best practices that promote a positive workplace culture across the Firm.
  1. Assist in managing HR compliance for international/remote team members who are Rippling EOR (Employer of Record), specific to country labor laws, including compensable time (work schedules/timekeeping), workplace policies, and Firm guidelines.
  1. Work with Rippling and Rippling HR Advisors to ensure policy compliance with existing and new international workplace locations.
  1. Oversee performance management during onboarding and support the annual performance review cycle.
  1. Support HR team members as needed (culture coordinator, talent acquisition, and training) with HR initiatives related to engagement, staffing, and training.
  1. Review and process employee claims related to unemployment, workers’ compensation, leave of absence, and accommodations for all international / remote EOR team members.
  1. Help support benefits administration, including the annual open enrollment process and responding to team member inquiries.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

1. Must be fluent in English and Spanish and located in Columbia, Costa Rica, or Dominican Republic.

2. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

3. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Generalist or in a similar position.

4. Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations procedures.

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and tactfully.

6. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a high-growth, fast-paced work environment.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Rippling HRIS is highly desired.

8. High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling employee matters.

9. HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
