  • Develop and implement evaluation methods to assess learner performance and training effectiveness, including participant feedback, written assessments, exam content, practical demonstrations, and other performance evaluations (e.g., OJT evaluations or oral boards), as applicable.
  • Gather, analyze, and use feedback and performance data to refine course content, improve instructional delivery, and support continuous improvement and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and directorate personnel to assess training needs, develop and present proposed solutions, and facilitate stakeholder review and concurrence.
  • Utilize instructional tools and technologies, and assess related equipment/software needs, enhance the learning experience, maintain effective delivery approaches, and recommend solutions based on required functionality and training needs.
  • Assist in programmatic assessments and audits to determine the compliance status and overall effectiveness of various ES&H training programs within the Safety Education & Training Office.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional job responsibilities, at the TSS.3 level

  • Lead development of advanced training programs, strategies, and methodologies to ensure alignment with DOE directives, standards, and Laboratory requirements, and to improve program effectiveness and consistency.
