Overall Purpose and Objective of Position:
As a Trade Assistant for the Coffee Platform at Louis Dreyfus Company, you will provide vital support to the Marketing team by managing day-to-day operations, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring seamless execution of transactions. This role requires strong organizational skills, data management and entry, reporting/analyzing and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist commercial sales team; position reporting, sample requests, AR reporting, pricing, etc.
- Become an expert of business execution flows and processes.
- Assist in tracking inventory levels and managing stock.
- Provide backup on Sales desk, price fixations, contract entry, sampling/allocations, CRM entries, etc.
- Ad-hoc projects and day-to-day tasks to be assigned.
· Sales Support:
- Help manage customer relationships and respond to inquiries as a support to the marketing teams
- Accurately manage and update SPOT inventory list
· Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the trading team and other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
- Liaise with traders, freight, and LDC coffee origins to support execution of trade
Additional Responsibilities:
- Arrange and schedule trade shows: SCTA coffee Dinner, World of Coffee, etc
- Assisting with onboarding of new clients
