Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
Driving Sales, Profitability, and Gross Margin Growth
· Increasing sales and profit through successful leadership, organizational plans, customer service, and outstanding execution of all operational strategies.
· Managing the business by effectively using sales reports, assessing departmental results, and developing specific actions directly related to business development and growth.
· Interacting with customers, observing requirements, and gathering feedback on customer’s shopping experience.
· Training and development of associates on standards and product knowledge.
· Responsible for the growth of underperformance departments/ trends through a well-documented improvement plan.
Customer Engagement
· Ensuring customer engagement with a difference aimed at quality, ideas, acknowledgment, and inspiration, leading to an emotional and loyal brand/customer attachment.
· Ensuring all associates greet, interact, engage, demonstrate, motivate and manage the customer flow, ensuring an outstanding in-store customer experience and establishing high expectations for excellent customer service.
· Responsible for satisfactory customer service scores (Mystery Shoppers) and feedback.
· Maintaining customer requirement data and communicating
Visual/Merchandise presentations
· Assisting and providing ideas in crafting window displays related to the brand offering/theme with a clear and creative message.
· Responsible for ensuring the store merchandising as per brand standards/ guidelines, targeting customer entry, and creating excitement about the exceptionality of the offering.
· Consistently implementing visual presentation and merchandising standards inclusive of the product presentation, sampling, and lighting in keeping with the current trends, color, and creativity.
Inventory Management
· Ensuring all store associates are well trained and compliant with basic inventory management and maintaining the inventory reports of the store.
· Constantly executing quality inventory with receiving, restocking, transfers, and managing inventory discrepancies. Review and act on stocks and negative SKU reporting.
· Complying with prescribed in-store/ product cycle counts on a timely and accurate basis.
· Maintain FIFO
Operations
· Weekly updates and presentations mailed to head office about store performance, product feedback, customer feedback, and plans.
· Ensuring 100% compliance with SOP
· Responsible for Customer satisfaction.
· Responsible for recruiting staff, ensuring consistent training, and retaining outstanding talent.
· Responsible for associate assessment and recognition of talent.
