YOUR MISSION _________

The Area Sales Manager is in charge of developing & growing sales, market share & brand equity in SEA region. To ensure that our brand standards are upheld at the highest levels and in line with our luxury brand image.

This is a dynamic 360 role that covers the scope of retail development (offline & online), P&L management, marketing & trade development as well as training

 

Commercial & Brand Development

  • Drive sales development, brand equity by achieving sales, market share and profitability targets
  • Ensure the brand plans are being implemented within corporate guidelines and yet to ensure the highest standards of retail & operational excellence to drive growth & equity
  • Identify actions and new opportunities for profitable growth in key doors & emerging markets
  • Devise yearly brand investment plan and amplification strategy to build our market leadership in terms of image, visibility, and luxury client experience
  • Negotiate trade terms, space allocation, assortment and pricing
  • Provide monthly sell out reports & market analysis, YTG action plans.

 

 

P&L Responsibility:

  • Full ownership of the P&L, preparation, presentation to top management and monthly expenses and profitability review
  • Managing and analyzing P&L and profit center, defining sell in/sell out targets
  • Take accountability for customer P&L and sell-in/ sell-out target achievements

 

Account Relationship Management:

  • Develop & manage long term, strategic relationships with all accounts
  • Drive retailer insights, work side-by-side with retailer on strategic projects and cross regional developments on consumer demands
  • Coordinate local teams to respond quickly to day to day requests to ensure close collaboration

 

Retail Excellence

  • Accelerate in retail excellence for all Point of Sales & boutiques thru implementation of digital tools to improve efficiency & ways of working. This is part of our long term ambition of building an omnichannel luxurious shopping experience for our clients.
  • Work closely with Retail Excellence function within SEA team to deep dive and map out store/boutique operational process, client experience, frontline workflows and productivity. Identify improvement opportunities and project manage recommendations.
  • Ensure consistency of new process implementation and best practice sharing between countries.

 

Marketing & Merchandising:

  • Work closely with Regional Marketing to ensure the execution of all touch points of 360 launch plans (training, trade plan, incentives, media)
  • Proposing and implementing a detailed sales/marketing/trade plan per customer
  • Monitor competitive activity and trends in markets, customers, products, prices, and channels

 

E-Retail:

  • Ensure the E-Retail strategy is rolled out complying with brand guidelines
  • Coordinate between internal departments, retailer and agency for campaign executions and ensure on-time content development.
  • Accelerate on digital activations, online brand visibility and sell-out development

 

People Management:

  • Manage a team of 7 office members (across Retail, VM & Training functions) & 70+ retail frontline staff
  • Motivate & engage the team by inculcating strong synergy to deliver results & performance
  • Develop key profiles within the team thru proper career pathway planning & training developmental plan
