Who This Role is Perfect For?
- You might currently be:
- A Principal Consultant, Solutions Architect, Sales/Pre-Sales Engineer, or hands-on technical specialist.
- You are not the one closing the deals, but you are deeply involved in the sales process and help to shape the solution, influence decisions, and are a big part of winning trust with customers.
- You know you can succeed in business development. You just need the right support and coaching and we’re the team that will back you.
About the Role
- We have opportunities in both New Business and Cross-Sell teams:
- Cross-Sell BDM: Identify customer challenges, influence stakeholders and customers, and drive additional revenue within an existing account base.
- New Business BDM: Create and manage new Hosting opportunities, opening new account relationships and driving growth for the Cloud Services business.
- In both roles, you will be the face of Macquarie Cloud and the experience you provide to your customer prospects and partners directly shapes the revenue you generate.
What you'll bring
- Strong technical domain knowledge in the Managed Cloud Services industry
- Experience supporting or participating in the sales cycle
- A strong ability to influence decision makers with data, logic, and credibility
- Strong customer-facing experience
- Background from Managed Cloud Services Providers
