Senior Manager – Operational Excellence is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and overall performance within the organization. He/she will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and champion a culture of continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop and execute operational excellence strategies that align with business goals, focusing on process optimization, quality improvement, and cost reduction.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead initiatives to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance efficiency.
- Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to analyze processes, identify root causes, and drive improvement projects across various departments.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working across the organization.
- Collaborate with different departments and teams to gather insights, align strategies, and implement improvements that impact the entire organization.
- Establish and maintain quality control measures to ensure that processes, products, and services meet or exceed established standards.
- Lead and manage cross-functional improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within scope.
- Communicate progress, successes, and challenges related to operational excellence initiatives to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Identify innovative solutions and best practices from within and outside the industry to drive continuous improvement and stay competitive.
Requirements
- Master or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or related roles, with demonstrated experience in leading initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and their application in process improvement.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Project management experience, including the ability to manage complex projects and deliver results.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies related to operational excellence.
