Duties and Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain communication with both existing and potential new clients to expand business opportunities in the market and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarding and shipping companies to monitor shipments and consignment status, particularly for imports to Manila.
  • Perform regular follow-ups with clients about upcoming consignments, resolve inquiries, collect feedback, and ensure smooth delivery processes.
  • Proactively seek fresh orders and nurture ongoing business relationships using targets, feedback, and responsive support.

Market Development and Client Outreach

  • Conduct outreach activities (calls, client meetings, emails) to introduce products and services to new clients and maintain business ties with current clients.
  • Research and pursue leads in key target markets, especially Manila, and track market feedback for product or service refinement.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve offerings and generate repeat orders.

Freight Forwarding and Shipping Coordination

  • Liaise directly with freight forwarding companies to track consignments, ensure timely arrivals, and handle documentation for shipments to Manila.
  • Monitor milestones, shipment schedules, and resolve any logistical issues in coordination with internal and external teams. [clickup +1]

Customer Follow-Up & Relationship Building

  • Engage in structured follow-up activities after shipments, addressing client queries, and collecting feedback to enhance satisfaction and stimulate further orders.
  • Provide value by responding quickly to customer needs, offering relevant advice, and sharing helpful resources, positioning the company as a reliable partner.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in client relations, Sales, B2B, B2C or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Experience working with Construction, Glass Manufacturing Industries, Power Plant, Feed Industry or import/export operations is a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Proficient in coordinating shipments, tracking consignments, and handling basic logistics documentation.
  • Solid understanding of market research, lead generation, and client outreach strategies.
  • Ability to conduct structured follow-ups, gather customer feedback, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, especially when monitoring multiple shipments and client accounts simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve inquiries and collaborate effectively with external partners such as freight forwarders and shipping companies.
  • Goal-oriented and proactive in seeking new business opportunities and nurturing existing business.
  • Must have own computer/laptop, stable internet connection, and necessary work equipment.
