Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
The Business Development Specialist’s overall purpose is to generate qualified opportunities for the company’s Australian outsourcing service line by making high-volume outbound calls to pre-generated leads, conducting brief qualification conversations, and consistently booking meetings for the Australian BD team, while operating within a structured sales process, using HubSpot for all outreach and pipeline activity, and contributing to a high-performance, collaborative culture aligned with Australian business hours.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and engage potential B2B buyers across various industries.
- Qualify leads to assess their level of interest and fit with our B2B services, ensuring alignment with our business objectives, and understanding their unique business needs.
- Proactively nurture relationships with B2B prospects, providing valuable insights and solutions tailored to their specific challenges and objectives.
- Transition qualified B2B leads into secured meetings via Teams or another platform.
- Monitor and track B2B lead interactions and progress through the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely updates in our CRM system.
- Contribute to the development of B2B sales and marketing strategies and initiatives to drive business growth.
- Play an active role in building the B2B sales infrastructure.
- Participate in daily sales meetings and operate within the defined BD structure, including coordination with the NSW BDM, National BDM, and Lead Generator.
- Conduct high-volume outbound activity using HubSpot, with a target of 80 calls per day.
- Manage pre-generated leads; no lead sourcing required.
- Book qualified appointments only, achieving:
- 2 meetings/day (initial),
- 4 meetings/day by Month 3,
- 5 meetings/day by Month 6.
- Conduct introductory qualification calls and present the service offering at a high level before handing off to the Australian BD team.
- Support the launch and market penetration of the company’s outsourcing/offshoring service line in Australia.

EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales within an outsourcing/offshoring company.
- Preferably from reputable offshore staffing providers.
- Strong industry knowledge with minimal learning curve required for outsourcing/offshoring operations.
- Experience working with the Australian market is preferred; U.S. or U.K. outsourcing market experience is also acceptable.
- Experience in professional/business copywriting (British English) is a requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in B2B lead generation, business development, or sales.
- Understanding of B2B sales and marketing principles and practices, with a
- Track record of success in engaging and converting B2B prospects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build rapport with B2B stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving B2B sales targets.
- Experience working with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Monthly PIP’s:
- New Clients: Successful onboarding of 1 - 2 new clients per month.
- People in Work: Successful onboarding of 3 - 4 new starters per month.
- Retention Rate: Successful retention rate of 80%, measured for a minimum of
- 6 months from the commencement date for all Clients and new starters.
