Retail Sustainability & Contracts Lead

You will be responsible for: 

• Leading and implementing sustainability initiatives across the retail estate, supporting our environmental objectives.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve recycling and promote circular economy practices.
• Managing key retail contracts, ensuring performance, compliance and value for money.
• Monitoring supplier performance using KPIs and service level agreements.
• Building strong relationships and work collaboratively with Retail Operations, Property, Finance, Procurement and external stakeholders.
• Analysing data and produce reports that demonstrate the impact of sustainability initiatives and contract performance.
• Identifying opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement and cost efficiencies.

Key Criteria:

• Experience in managing commercial or operational contracts in a charity environment.
• Knowledge of sustainability principles, environmental best practice or circular economy initiatives.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Confidence influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Attention to detail with strong communication and presentation skills.
• A collaborative approach with a passion for delivering positive change.
