The Opportunity:
The Dayforce Senior Analyst is responsible for analysing business processes, implementing Dayforce solutions, leading system configuration, and supporting HR and payroll operations. Is a team leader who manages day-to-day operations, sets clear objectives, and delegates tasks to ensure team goals are met. Includes, global development & support of all interfaces and reports. Participate in projects with responsibilities including but not limited to participating in requirements definition workshops, assisting with developing design documentation, developing/configuring the Dayforce solution, data migration, and system/unit testing. Provide technical suggestions to ensure the solution is configured & leveraging best practices. You must understand business problems and communicate well and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders (HR/Payroll) and technical teams.
What Your Impact Will Be:
ENHANCEMENTS AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Functional Leads work with Dayforce technical team for integrations. Define integration requirements, validate data mapping & support inbound/outbound integrations.
- Lead discovery sessions to understand a business team's specific time reporting, entitlements, and payroll requirements
- Gain necessary input/approval of requirements and design, and participate in code reviews and perform code review for others occasionally
- Develop functional specifications and work with technical resources to complete object development and testing
- Provides alternatives and recommendations based on best practices and application functionality. Must have good knowledge of the Dayforce products to recommend and develop optimal WFM solutions for the internal customer.
- Configure workforce management and payroll-related elements within Dayforce, including organizations, job assignments, pay policies, entitlements, schedules, attendance, time clocks, data mapping, earnings, deductions, payroll calendar, and general ledger accounts based on country requirements.
- Conduct unit testing, coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT), system and parallel testing with business. Ensure the system is accurate and compliant before and after implementation.
PRODUCTION SUPPORT
- After implementation, the Lead Analyst supports system operations by troubleshooting system issues, monitor system performance and support payroll cycles as needed.
- Responsible for case management and ensuring cases are resolved with service level agreement (SLA) and monitoring key performance indicators (KPI) monthly.
- Support inbound/outbound integrations and data loads.
- Good understanding of Dayforce native and in-country providers (ICP) infrastructure.
- Fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues
- Assist internal customers with tuning and optimizing their reports.
- Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems
- Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage best practices, standard processes and local variations due to customer, legal or business mandates
- Understand the business processes, how the application supports the business processes and apply this knowledge to best solve problems
- Develop, implement and maintain functionality and workflows
- Monitor for system updates by:
- Staying up to date with Dayforce updates and enhancements, assessing their impact on existing processes, and recommend and implement system improvements.
- Proactively review release notes and communicate key changes to stakeholders, identifying opportunities to leverage new features to enhance business efficiency and functionality.
- Lead the planning and execution of system, regression, and user acceptance testing for major releases to ensure the stability and integrity of existing configurations.
