[BAR] Barista

A barista prepares and serves coffee and other beverages while creating a friendly, welcoming experience for customers in cafes or coffee shops.​

Core responsibilities

• Greet customers, explain menu items or specials, take orders accurately, and process payments at the counter or POS system.​

• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks such as espresso-based coffees, teas, and specialty beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.​

• Serve pastries or light snacks, package takeaway items, and ensure orders are delivered correctly and promptly.​

Hygiene and equipment

• Keep the bar area, tables, and equipment clean, stocked, and organized, following food safety and hygiene standards.​

• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment, reporting any issues that require repair.​

• Restock ingredients, cups, lids, and other supplies, and check that brewing equipment is functioning properly throughout the shift.​
