What Your Mission Is: 

Your mission as an Accounting Assistant at Maven Roofing is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will play a critical role in maintaining our financial health by managing and reconciling accounts, ensuring accurate data entry, and supporting our financial operations. Your efforts will directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial processes, helping us deliver exceptional service to our customers.

What You'll Do: 

• Manage and maintain financial records in QuickBooks Online.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Accurately enter financial data into QuickBooks.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
• Support financial reporting and audit preparations.
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes.
• Assist with other accounting tasks as needed to support the team.

What Qualifications you will need: 

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with data entry and account reconciliation.
• Experience working with US clients is preferred.
• Familiarity with Bill.com is a plus.
• AP/AR experience is appreciated.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
