Maviance PLC as a fintech develops, operates and grows a technological platform that focuses on increasing and facilitating access to digital financial services (including bill & payment aggregation, retail payments, agent banking, corporate & bulk payments) to people, companies and government entities of all income level across Cameroon.

Maviance PLC is engaging in its expansion phase in Cameroon and within the CEMAC (Central African) region with the goal of establishing the company as the #1 leading player in the Fintech and Digital Financial space.

We are looking for a professional intern in content and web specialty to lead the company’s digital presence across all platforms. This includes website management, content strategy, copywriting, digital campaigns, app promotion, social media, and the digital visibility of the agent network. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-oriented, and experienced in creating high-impact digital content and campaigns that enhance the performance and visibility of Maviance and its flagship products.

Key Responsibilities;

Website and Digital Platform Management

  • Maintain, update, and optimize the Maviance and Smobilpay websites using CMS tools (e.g., WordPress).
  • Ensure strong SEO performance, fast loading speeds, mobile responsiveness, and optimal user experience.
  • Create and manage campaign landing pages, blog content, and product pages.
  • Coordinate with developers and technical partners for troubleshooting and enhancements.

Content Creation and Digital Branding

  • Develop and manage bilingual (French and English) content for all digital channels: website, blog, email, social media, and online ads.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across all content.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of digital brand guidelines and reusable content templates.

Copywriting and Messaging

  • Craft compelling and strategic copy for multiple formats, including:
  • Website and blog articles
  • App Store and Play Store descriptions
  • Digital campaigns and social media posts
  • SMS, push notifications, email marketing, and chatbot content
  • Adapt messaging for different target audiences while maintaining brand voice and clarity.
  • Translate or localize content for both French and English markets.

Google App Campaigns and Mobile App Promotion

  • Plan, launch, and manage Google App Campaigns to drive Smobilpay installs and user engagement.
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns for better reach and ROI.
  • Ensure that app-related content (screenshots, descriptions, store reviews) is regularly updated and aligned with campaign goals.

Agent Network Digital Presence

  • Drive the digital visibility of Maviance’s agent network by developing content that highlights agent impact, success stories, and regional coverage.
  • Create and manage online communities and content streams dedicated to agent communication (e.g., WhatsApp groups, Facebook communities).
  • Collaborate with the Agent Network team to align content strategy with operational goals.

Social Media Management

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of all social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
  • Create and schedule posts, monitor engagement, and manage audience interactions.
  • Track social media trends and propose innovative content formats to increase reach and engagement.

Internal Digital Support

  • Coordinate digital asset creation and campaign support requests from other departments (sales, HR, operations, etc.).
  • Ensure timely delivery and compliance with branding and digital quality standards.

 Analytics and Reporting

  • Track and report on digital KPIs using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and campaign dashboards.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to continuously improve digital performance.

Requirements

  • Degree in Digital Marketing, Communication, Web Design, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in a digital content, web management, or campaign execution role.
  • Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in CMS (WordPress), SEO tools, Google Ads (especially App Campaigns), Meta Ads Manager, and web analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in copywriting, digital storytelling, and managing content for multi-channel distribution.
  • Knowledge of visual design principles and ability to collaborate with designers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of payments, finance, and the fintech sector is a strong advantage.
