As a key pillar within Mercedes-Benz.io Business Operations, our multi-disciplinary Legal & Compliance Team consists of Legal, Compliance and Data Protection specialists working closely together between Portugal and Germany to shape a compliance culture that is tailor-made for Mercedes-Benz.io. To stay compliant with all relevant regulations while preserving our agile and modern way of working is a constant challenge – and one we embrace.

We are looking for a Compliance and Data Compliance Officer (f/m/x) to join our Team based in Stuttgart, starting at the earliest possible date. In this full-time and permanent position, you will take ownership of driving and developing our Compliance and Data Compliance Management System, enabling our teams while ensuring a state-of-the-art documentation meeting the high standards we set for ourselves.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

• Build, refine and maintain our Compliance Management System in close collaboration with our team experts, with a focus on Data Compliance matters

• Ensure GDPR requirements are met by helping teams and departments understand and apply data protection standards

• Be the gatekeeper of our company's Record of Processing Activities and support the conclusion of data protection agreements

• Coordinate our local policy management system, drive our recurring global risk management activities and implement effective compliance controls

• Be the go-to person within our German entity for compliance matters, such as gifts and invitations, sanctions compliance, anti-corruption or sponsorships and donations

• Be a trusted contact for employees for questions regarding integrity, speak-up culture and whistleblowing

• Continuously challenge and improve our processes and documentation

• Spread your knowledge through consultations, workshops, and training sessions
