Are you passionate about improving health and public health in Maine? Do you have a background in community-based public health, including tobacco prevention, substance use prevention, and obesity prevention? If yes, this may be the right opportunity for you!

We are looking for a public health leader who will be embedded with the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and will be responsible for the oversight, coordination, development, and management of the Maine Prevention Network (MPN).

The MPN is a collaboration among the Maine CDC Tobacco and Substance Use Prevention and Control Program, Maine CDC Chronic Disease Programs (Obesity Prevention), and Public Health District level community partners. With guidance from the Maine CDC, contracted community partners work to implement evidence-based prevention programming for Substance Use, Tobacco Use, Obesity, and Youth Engagement & Empowerment.
