Location: Home-based (with UK-wide and some international travel as required)
Salary: £37,000 – £41,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Plus: Access to annual bonus scheme
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Start date: w/c 5th to 19th January 2026

 

About the Role

Educate by Medica is a global provider of continuing professional development (CPD), delivering world-class education across national and international markets. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Interim Events Manager to join our team on a maternity cover basis.

This is a senior, hands-on role offering the opportunity to lead the delivery of our diverse portfolio of educational events, including thought leadership initiatives planned for 2026. You’ll be instrumental in driving strategic alignment and commercialisation across our projects, ensuring every event reflects our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of Educate by Medica’s live and virtual radiology events

  • Manage all logistical aspects, from concept development to post-event evaluation

  • Ensure events meet high professional standards and align with brand and organisational goals

  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and operational plans

  • Collaborate with internal teams, clinical speakers, and external partners

  • Build strong relationships with sponsors, venues, suppliers, and delegates

  • Coordinate speaker and delegate communications and materials

  • Support the development of new event formats and commercial initiatives

  • Contribute to strategic planning for future events, including roundtables and thought leadership

  • Work closely with marketing, commercial, and clinical teams to ensure event alignment

  • Champion continuous improvement in event delivery and delegate experience

  • Monitor performance metrics and provide insights for optimisation

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, data protection, and regulatory standards

  • Maintain accurate documentation including budgets, contracts, and feedback reports
