Position Summary 
In the Talent Acquisition Associate role, you will be a join Metergy’s Human Resources team and be a key contributor to our company’s talent mandate and growth plan. Partnering with leaders at all levels, you will lead searches from beginning to end, delivering expertise in attracting and evaluating top talent. As the ideal candidate, you will be highly driven, professional, accountable, resourceful, and skilled at managing fluctuating workloads and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment. 

The role maintains a hybrid working schedule. The individual is expected to work from our Markham office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Be an ambassador of our people & culture - internally to all team members, and externally to potential team members.
  • Partner with hiring managers and lead searches from intake through to fill / onboarding.
  • Actively source and prospect talent using various systems and resources. 
  • Build sourcing channels and candidate pipelines for key roles across the organization. 
  • Lead recruitment intake discussions with hiring managers. Build search plans. 
  • Pre-screen talent and present shortlisted talent to hiring managers. 
  • Coordinate the interview process.  Provide decision support throughout the process. 
  • Manage candidate expectations throughout the hiring process. Interface with hiring managers and the candidate on offer negotiations. Prepare and extend offers. 
  • Build and grow relationships with colleges, universities and industry associations. Represent the company at targeted academic institutions in support our summer, co-op and new graduate hire programs.
  • Bring forward opportunities to streamline and improve practices that will lead elevate candidate and onboarding experiences.
  • Contribute to new HR initiatives and ad hoc projects. 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years of full lifecycle recruitment experience within a rapidly scaling professional services business. Agency and campus recruitment experience are considered assets.
  • Skilled communicator and trusted partner to leaders of all levels. Organized, diligent and detail oriented in how they manage a search and collaborate with others. 
  • Proven track record for effectively managing an average of 12-15 searches at one time.
  • Broad search experience; hiring for all areas of a business - finance, engineering, customer care / success, information technology and sales.
  • Post secondary degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or another related area. 
  • Familiarity with HR Databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and LinkedIn.
