We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead strategic and complex initiatives within our digital transformation portfolio. In this role, you will bridge technology and business, delivering impactful outcomes while mentoring other project managers and promoting best practices. You’ll be instrumental in orchestrating project success across domains and contributing to our enterprise-wide digital agenda.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional, enterprise-level projects with a focus on digital products and transformation.
- Align projects with business strategy, ensuring high impact and value delivery.
- Define project scopes, business cases, and roadmaps in collaboration with domain owners and product teams.
- Build, coach, and guide cross-functional project teams toward successful delivery.
- Manage scope, schedules, risks, budgets, resources, and communications across multiple projects.
- Report on project and program status to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Actively contribute to PMO governance by improving processes, standards, and toolsets.
- Facilitate executive reviews and lead critical project discussions with business and technology leaders.
- Act as an escalation point for complex delivery issues, proactively managing resolutions.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability in project delivery.
1. Deep Understanding of Legacy Oracle Systems
- Familiarity with Oracle databases (Oracle Forms, PL/SQL, stored procedures, data models) and how they integrate with business applications.
- Ability to liaise with technical SMEs to interpret schemas, custom code, and dependencies.
2. Experience with System Migration Projects
- Proven track record in planning and execution of data migrations, application refactoring, and system cutovers.
- Knowledge of common pitfalls (e.g., data loss, performance issues, business downtime).
3. Data Migration & Quality Management Expertise
- Strong grasp of ETL processes, data mapping, cleansing, and validation.
- Ensuring data integrity, reconciliation processes, and robust testing strategies.
4. Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Ability to communicate clearly with business users, IT teams, and executives.
- Translate technical details into business impact and manage expectations around risks, timelines, and downtime.
5. Testing & Validation Oversight
- Ensure thorough unit, integration, UAT, and performance testing.
- Coordinate test data, user involvement, and sign-off processes.
6. Strong Project Governance & Methodology
- Expertise in Agile / Hybrid / Waterfall governance models depending on the organization’s maturity.
- Ensure proper budget control, resource planning, and milestone tracking.
- Drive decision-making at steering committees.
