About the role

We are seeking a strategic, high-impact Media Associate Director or Director to support Mile Marker’s internal growth initiatives and new business pitching process. This is a specialized, part-time role designed for a media veteran who excels at translating complex data into winning pitch insights and stories.

You will focus entirely on internal excellence and agency growth. You will be the architect of our media responses for RFPs in collaboration with the growth team, working to ensure our pitches are innovative, data-driven, and positioned to win.

What you'll do

  • Own the media portion of the RFP process, from initial intake brief to strategy brainstorming and development to final media plan delivery.
  • Utilize advanced research tools to identify audience, segmentation and other insights for Consumer Journey mapping
  • Analyze industry trends and competitive spend data to provide actionable insights for pitches.
  • Develop comprehensive omnichannel, full funnel media strategies and plans that demonstrate Mile Marker’s competitive edge to prospective clients.
  • Partner with the Growth and Media teams to ensure recommendations are seamlessly integrated into the overall agency narrative.
  • Establish preliminary measurement frameworks and KPIs for prospective client proposals.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in omnichannel media planning and buying, with previous experience on agency-side new business or high-level strategy.
  • A track record of participating in and winning new business.
  • Deep knowledge of the evolving full funnel media landscape, from awareness tactics to Retail Media, and e-commerce.
  • Ability to pivot strategy across multiple industries (B2B, DTC, CPG, etc.) on short notice.
  • Proficiency in Google Slides/PowerPoint, with a talent for visualizing data and complex media flows.
  • Experience with tools such as Comscore, Vivvix/Kantar, MRI-Simmons, and various DSP planning tools.
  • Exceptional ability to present "high-level" concepts to internal stakeholders.

Work Schedule & Expectations

  • This is a part-time role requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week.
  • While we respect a consistent schedule, the ideal candidate understands the "ebb and flow" of new business and can occasionally shift hours to meet firm RFP deadlines.
