Licensed Mental Health Professional

MindCare Solutions, is a leader in comprehensive mental health solutions in various settings: clinician owned and operated. We are seeking a licensed mental health professional that is looking for a partnership in a growing organization with a strong team-mentality working in a correctional/forensic setting. 

Schedule: F/T or P/T, Monday - Friday (on-site)

Compensation: dependent on experience/contract type

Position Summary:
 

• The LMHP provides mental health services such as intake, crisis intervention, individual counseling and group counseling
• Acts as a member of the treatment team to determine, coordinate and implement appropriate inmate/patient care
• The LMHP prepares and regularly maintains progress notes and discharge summaries on patients
• Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the inmates/patient's treatment plan
• The LMHP provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context
• Refers inmate/patient for outside services once released
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling
• Must possess a current and unrestricted license in the state of New Jersey (NJ)
• An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Applicants must successfully pass the required criminal background check
