Position Type: 1099/Weekend dayshift

Rate: negotiable

Position Overview:

We are seeking a flexible and experienced Pediatric Infectious Disease (ID) physician with interstate license who specializes in diagnosing and treating infectious disease. Consults will be scheduled based on hospital referrals and patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely infectious disease consultations based on hospital referrals (e.g., skin and soft tissue infections, cellulitis, general infectious disease concerns).
• Conduct patient evaluations and complete appropriate documentation.
• Collaborate with hospital teams to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Consults will be scheduled based on physician availability and the timing of referrals.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with board certification in Infectious Disease.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Idaho and/or interstate license is required.
• Comfortable working independently and flexibly within hospital-based systems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Schedule & Availability:

• Consults scheduled around physician availability and patient acuity.
• Ability to provide timely evaluations and recommendations for referred patients.
