Telehealth School Based - LMHP - TX

School Based Licensed Mental Health Professionals

Compensation:  based on experience/contract type

Location: Telehealth (must be licensed in TX)

Hours: 8am-4pm

Position Summary:  

As a school-based licensed mental health professional, focus will be on supporting students’ emotional, behavioral, and psychological well-being so they can succeed academically and socially. Key responsibilities include:

• Provide individual and/or group counseling to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges
• Conduct mental health assessments and screenings
• Develop treatment or support plans for students with identified needs
• Provide crisis intervention for situations such as suicidal ideation, self-harm, bullying, or trauma
• Work closely with teachers, school administrators, and special education teams
• Offer consultation to teachers on classroom behavior management and student emotional needs
• Maintain clinical documentation, progress notes, and service records
• Meet compliance standards and school district policies
• Track outcomes and monitor student progress

Qualifications:

• Licensed Mental Health Professional in the State of TX (required).
• Knowledge of behavioral health screening tools and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Strong telehealth proficiency and ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
• Maintain clinical competency and compliance with all applicable regulations.
