We are looking to add an experienced Manager, People Excellence & Technology to our People team in Santiago, Chile. Reporting to the Director, People, this role is responsible for supporting the implementation of global People programs across the South America region, with a primary focus on Chile. This role ensures high-quality execution of people processes, HR technology systems, and employee experience initiatives, aligned with local labor requirements and global standards. An ideal candidate will be a detail oriented self-starter that enjoys developing innovative solutions.

We are looking to add an experienced Manager, People Excellence & Technology to our People team in Santiago, Chile. Reporting to the Director, People, this role is responsible for supporting the implementation of global People programs across the South America region, with a primary focus on Chile. This role ensures high-quality execution of people processes, HR technology systems, and employee experience initiatives, aligned with local labor requirements and global standards. An ideal candidate will be a detail oriented self-starter that enjoys developing innovative solutions. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain People policies, processes, and technology systems across the region.  
  • Ensure compliance with Chilean, Peruvian, and Brazilian labour legislation, including supporting audits, reporting requirements, and regional legal documentation.  
  • Oversee accurate and timely employee data management and documentation. 
  • Manage regional onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, workflows, and a consistent employee experience.  
  • Oversee HR operations workflows to ensure smooth delivery of core people processes. 
  • Support compensation and benefits administration, including data coordination for merit, bonus, and rewards cycles. 
  • Manage recruitment coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners across the region. 
  • Support the execution of employee experience initiatives, including engagement activities, regional communications, and recognition programs in partnership with Internal Communications, Culture Champions, and Social Committees. 
  • Serve as the regional point of contact for People systems (HRIS, Lattice, ATS), supporting global and regional rollouts, configuration changes, and adoption.  
  • Monitor data accuracy and ensure system workflows comply with regional requirements. 
  • Partner with global and regional People team members, including People Business Partners, to ensure smooth, consistent delivery of People programs and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in HR operations, People Operations, or HR technology roles.  
  • Strong knowledge of Chilean labor law and employment practices.  
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and digital people systems.  
  • Professional fluency in Spanish and working proficiency in English.  
  • Experience supporting operations in the mining industry, particularly in a regional or multinational context, is an asset. 
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Experience working in Microsoft 365. 
  • Health & Safety conscious individual. 
  • Legally able to work in Chile.  
  • Periodic travel (5–10%) may be required for meetings, training, and regional support.
