Senior/Lead QA Engineer – Cloud & Storage
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior/Lead QA Engineer with expertise in both cloud-native platforms and storage systems. This role combines deep technical proficiency with leadership in test strategy, automation, and quality advocacy. You will play a key part in ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and performance across storage subsystems, distributed systems, and Kubernetes-based environments.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Quality Leadership
Define and drive QA strategies across storage, cloud-native, and distributed environments.
Lead risk analysis, test planning, and release readiness assessments.
Establish quality gates, release metrics, and data-driven feedback loops to ensure production-grade releases.
Advocate for a culture of quality and influence design and architecture decisions with testing in mind.
Test Infrastructure & Automation
Develop, improve, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks and infrastructure.
Architect and manage test systems for validating storage, microservices, and hybrid-cloud workloads.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), ensuring reliability and maintainability.
Apply Infrastructure-as-Code practices to create repeatable, extensible, and resilient test environments.
Advanced Testing & Continuous Improvement
Execute functional, non-functional, integration, system, performance, and failover testing.
Simulate production-like workloads, failure scenarios, and recovery testing across distributed clusters.
Integrate chaos, performance, and security testing into the development lifecycle.
Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams on monitoring, debugging, and improving resilience.
Mentorship & Collaboration
Mentor junior QA engineers and developers in advanced testing techniques and automation practices.
Serve as the QA authority in design reviews, incident retrospectives, and production readiness assessments.
Work with geographically distributed teams on technical challenges and continuous quality improvements.
