Job Overview

The purpose of the Senior Project Coordinator is to provide advanced coordination and operational support within the PMO for a highly complex, multi-stream project, ensuring alignment, transparency, and execution discipline across multiple project components led by different Project Managers. The role directly supports the Senior Project Manager and acts as a central coordination point across all project streams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day coordination support to the Senior Project Manager across all project streams.
  • Coordinate planning, timelines, milestones, and dependencies across multiple project components managed by different Project Managers.
  • Consolidate project plans, risks, issues, and status reports into a single, coherent PMO view for senior stakeholders.
  • Track cross-stream dependencies and proactively highlight risks, misalignments, or resource conflicts.
  • Ensure consistent application of PMO standards, templates, and reporting approaches across all project parts.
  • Prepare executive-level status updates, dashboards, and materials for steering committees and leadership reviews.
  • Organize and facilitate cross-PM alignment meetings, ensuring clear ownership, decisions, and follow-up actions.
  • Support escalation management by ensuring timely, structured, and data-driven inputs for decision-making.
  • Cooperation across the teams
  • Be aware of, guard, and comply with the core purpose, core values, strategy, and all the policies of the company, ensuring the policies are in place and up-to-date in fiduciary areas.
  • Professionally lead his/her team. Comply with the 1+1 rule (consent from the manager of a manager) when it relates to important people decisions (appoint, dismiss, significant scope change incl. title or payroll).
