Job Overview

Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled HRIS/Payroll Analyst  to join our Human Resources team. This role will serve as the subject matter expert in managing, maintaining, and optimizing our HRIS System (Rippling) in addition to processing payroll through Ripping while owning HR data integrity, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will combine deep HRIS knowledge with advanced payroll, data and reporting skills to drive business insights, support compensation projects, and enhance decision-making across HR functions.

Essential Duties/Functions:

  • Serve as the HRIS and Payroll subject matter expert with ownership of Rippling HRIS & Payroll Processing system or similar large-scale HR system (Workday, UKG, etc.).
  • Ensure data accuracy, system configuration, and seamless HR technology operations.
  • Develop and maintain complex reports and dashboards; leverage advanced Excel (including Pivot Tables) for data analysis.
  • Lead efforts in data manipulation, modeling, and reporting to deliver actionable insights for HR and business leaders.
  • Manage Payscale data and compensation pricing projects, ensuring competitive and compliant pay practices.
  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for Mission US.
  • Analyze and interpret HR survey data to support workforce planning, engagement, and compensation initiatives.
  • Own and maintain all HR data, reporting, and analytics across the HR function through Rippling.
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to identify technology enhancements, streamline workflows, and improve system utilization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of HRIS/Payroll systems experience, preferably with Rippling, Workday, UKG, or another enterprise-level HRIS.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and complex data modeling required).
  • Strong experience in HR reporting, data manipulation, and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with compensation systems, survey data analysis, and pay pricing projects.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Working Conditions:

  • Requires a quiet work environment with regular sitting at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Occasional walking and standing, and lifting of up to 10 lbs.
  • Regular use of hands and fingers.
  • Frequent talking or hearing.
  • Vision requirements: Close, distance, color, peripheral, focus and depth perception.
