Job Brief
You will join our growing team, carrying out a variety of tasks such as completing third party due diligence, fulfilling data subject rights, answering data protection queries, as well as helping with periodic reviews. We are looking for graduates with a strong academic record.
What You'll Do
- Working closely with the rest of the data protection team, you will help Moneybox build a best-in-class data protection program.
- Support the maintenance of Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and data mapping exercises.
- Help coordinate responses to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and other information rights requests.
- Conduct routine privacy impact assessments (PIAs) of our third party data processors.
- Assist in incident and breach management processes, including investigation, documentation, and reporting.
- Support staff awareness and training initiatives on data protection and privacy best practices.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry guidance, and data protection best practices.
- Provide administrative and monitoring support to the Data Protection Officer and wider compliance team.
- Support delivery of compliance input into projects, product changes, and new customer journeys.
- Respond to business-wide data protection queries with timely, clear, and practical guidance.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with data protection laws and internal data protection policies (e.g., GDPR, UK Data Protection Act, DUAA where applicable).
You will be involved in, but not limited to, these duties:
Experience and Skills
- A strong academic background with at least one university degree
- A personal interest in finance, data protection law, regulation or risk management
- Highly numerate, analytical and financially literate
- Strong communication skills (business writing and listening)
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Fluency in English
- An awareness of or curiosity about the financial services industry — prior experience is welcome but not essential
