Web Developer - Website Growth

What is the job?

We are looking for a strategic, creative, and hands-on Web Developer who is focussed on Website Growth to take ownership of the development, optimisation, and performance of our digital presence across Montu UK and Alternaleaf.

This is not a traditional developer role focused solely on building pages. We are looking for someone who can build, experiment, and optimise. You will combine deep Webflow and Wix expertise with a strong understanding of user journeys, SEO, and conversion rate optimisation to continuously improve how our websites perform.

Working closely with marketing, pharmacy, product, and growth teams, you will play a key role in ensuring our websites are high-performing, scalable, and conversion-focused.

What will you be doing?

• Own and execute the website development and optimisation strategy aligned with business and growth goals

• Build, maintain, and optimise website pages and templates using Webflow and Wix

• Develop scalable components and implement custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) where required

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a consistent, high-performing user experience

• Act as the technical owner for all website initiatives, ensuring best-in-class web standards

• Translate marketing, product, and brand initiatives into seamless on-site user journeys

• Implement and manage conversion rate optimisation (CRO) initiatives, including A/B and multivariate testing

• Monitor site performance and user behaviour using tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, and other analytics platforms

• Apply SEO best practices across site structure, metadata, and technical implementation

• Ensure mobile-first design, accessibility standards, and page speed optimisation across all platforms

• Identify opportunities to improve conversion funnels, lead generation, upselling, and cross-selling

• Conduct usability testing and incorporate data-driven improvements to continuously optimise the user experience

• Collaborate with content, SEO, CRM, and paid media teams to ensure landing pages and campaigns perform effectively

• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, where testing, iteration, and innovation drive results

What do you need?

• 5+ years' experience in website marketing, product management, or digital strategy.

• Deep hands-on expertise in Webflow and Wix (must-have).

• Proficient in HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript (ability to customise components).

• Strong understanding of web performance optimisation, custom code within Webflow, and structured data (schema) for enhanced SEO.

• Experience with API integrations and compliance-led tracking.

• Experience working in regulated environments and balancing compliance with creativity.

• Strong track record of improving site performance and conversion rates.

• Familiarity with CMS workflows, UX/UI principles, and web analytics.

• Ability to plan, deliver, and own web projects end-to-end.

Bonus Points For

• Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry

• Knowledge of GDPR, data compliance, and secure form handling

• Experience integrating CRM tools and marketing automation

• Understanding of personalisation engines and behavioural triggers

• Comfort with Agile project methodologies
