Backend/FullStack Developer

• Work on the Market Risk platform, within a global team in Technology department.
• Be involved in all aspects of software life cycle including gathering requirements from the business, analysis of existing systems/functionality, design and implementation, all the way through to production roll out and subsequent support in an Agile environment.
• Be able to grow as a flexible and practical technologist, show and gain excellent problem-solving skills.
• Enjoy all aspects of software development.
• Be part of a distributed team, with strong presence in Budapest.

Requirements

• Strong academic record with Bachelor's level or above in a computational field like Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong Core Java (including Spring boot based RESTful web services in multi-threaded environments).
• Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Design principles.
• Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience writing unit test cases using mock frameworks like Mockito, etc.
• Data modelling, SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, etc.
• Good communication skills.
• Hungarian citizenship and fluent Hungarian/English language skills is a must.

You might also have:

• Experience in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.
• Understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
• DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with lambdas and streams.
• Experience in functional automated testing.
• Experience in utilizing standard design patterns.
