The System Administrator supports the daily operations, maintenance, and monitoring of the organization’s IT infrastructure. The role works under the guidance of the IT Manager and collaborates with the IT Support Team to ensure system stability, security compliance, and effective end-user support.
This role offers practical experience across infrastructure operations, cybersecurity monitoring, SAP support, and participation in IT projects. It is suited for someone who has progressed beyond traditional helpdesk responsibilities and has solid knowledge of cloud platforms, server environments, and change management processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. System Administration & Infrastructure Support
Assist in maintaining and monitoring servers, workstations, and network infrastructure
Monitor system and network performance to detect bottlenecks or anomalies
Install and configure operating systems on workstations
Apply security patches, updates, and software upgrades
Perform and verify regular system backups
Support cybersecurity monitoring activities and log security incidents
Escalate critical incidents to the IT Manager
Assist with SAP infrastructure-related tasks (e.g., data cleansing support)
Maintain IT asset inventory (hardware and software tracking)
2. IT Support (Level 1–2)
Provide technical support to end users (hardware, software, and network issues)
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within defined SLA targets
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors
Support onboarding and offboarding processes (account provisioning, device setup)
Assist in writing user guides and internal SOP documentation
Provide basic administration and support for Google Workspace
Contribute to maintaining helpdesk performance standards
3. Projects & Continuous Improvement
Support IT initiatives and infrastructure improvement projects
Assist in SAP-related projects under supervision
Participate in system testing and implementation activities
Provide technical input aligned with business requirements
4. Team & Communication
Collaborate with internal IT team members and third-party vendors
Communicate effectively with end users in English
Support internal knowledge-sharing and training activities
Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and continuous learning
