What you’ll do:
We are seeking an experienced Guest Service Agent who is passionate about the hospitality industry to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be committed to long-term growth and eager to build a rewarding career with us. You will provide an exceptional experience to our guests from reservation and throughout their stay, creating lifetime memories. On a daily basis you will:
- Complete reception tasks such as taking bookings, preparing invoices, checking guests in and out
- Answer phone and email enquires promptly and professionally
- Communicate with other departments to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals or to ensure guest needs are met
- Complete end-of-day procedures, including accurate financial reconciliation and reporting
- Perform night audit tasks to ensure operational and financial accuracy
This role will work evening shifts 4–5 days per week, typically from 4:00pm to midnight, so night audit experience is essential.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong experience in delivering outstanding guest service, with familiarity in booking systems such as NewBook, RoomMaster, Opera, or similar.
- Demonstrated night audit experience
- A genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences through warm and engaging interactions.
- A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Certificate II in Hospitality (Operations) or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong financial skills, including accurate cash handling and daily reconciliation responsibilities.
- Effective problem-solving abilities, with confidence in applying mathematical skills in operational tasks.
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence, essential for living and working in a remote location.
