Senior Manager performs the following duties:
1) advising first and second year undergraduate University students, assisting students in selecting appropriate courses, and planning their academic trajectory to ensure timely graduation;
2) confidential advising notes: maintain detailed and confidential advising notes to create a historical record of each student's advising experience, ensuring the highest level of privacy and data integrity;
3) educational transactions oversight: approve and oversee all designated educational transactions, including pre-registration/registration schedules, course adjustments and major changes;
4) personalized student communication: engage in regular, personalized communication with students to guide them through academic planning and the online registration process;
5) academic probation support: implement support programs for students on academic probation, helping them regain their academic footing;
6) support services: collaborate with other student support services to address students' needs, including referrals for tutoring, mental health counseling, or accessibility services;
7) inter-departmental collaboration: collaborate effectively with other Schools and structural divisions to address inquiries, fostering a seamless academic experience;
8) coordinate the Student Fellowship Program (SSF): conduct annual recruitment and selection of participants for the SSF Program, including AAO Fellows, Tutors, and Mentors; organize teambuilding, professional development, and onboarding activities.
