Job Overview

The Corporate Communications Coordinator will be an integral member of the Corporate Communications team, supporting day-to-day operations through media monitoring, content management, administrative coordination, and communications support. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong writing skills, a passion for media and communications, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Media Monitoring and Industry Intelligence 

  • Compile and distribute daily NBCUniversal and industry news roundups, including Top Stories, media coverage, and relevant industry developments. 
  • Monitor traditional, digital, and social media for emerging conversations, trends, competitive activity, reputational risks, stakeholder sentiment, and engagement opportunities, flagging relevant developments to the Corporate Communications team. 
  • Prepare recurring social listening summaries and support Sprout Social monitoring and reporting, media clip distribution, and daily communications updates. 
  • Conduct ad hoc research to support communications strategies, executive briefings, special projects, and AI agents. 

Corporate Communications Support 

  • Support the development of communications materials and plans, blogs and newsletters, presentations, and other resources for executives and cross-functional partners. 
  • Research and compile economic, industry, and policy information to inform messaging and communications materials. 
  • Track key milestones, partnerships, program outcomes, and related communications opportunities across corporate functions. 
  • Manage communications calendars, project trackers, and planning tools aligned with Government Affairs, CSR, and corporate priorities. 

Administrative and Team Support 

  • Draft meeting agendas and coordinate materials, face sheets, executive briefings, meeting logistics, team events, and other office needs. 
  • Help manage important dates, milestones, events, and communications activities. 
  • Provide administrative and operational support for communications initiatives, interns, cross-functional projects, and other responsibilities as assigned.
