Full Stack Engineer – Back‑End Focused/AWS - Perm/Initial 6-month contract

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer (Back-End Focused) to develop secure, scalable backend services and cloud-enabled solutions. In this role, you will design and build Node.js services, develop reliable APIs, and contribute to the architectural evolution of modern backend systems. Working closely with product, architecture, and front-end teams, you will deliver stable, high-performing backend components that underpin seamless digital experiences.

You will bring strong experience working with the AWS tech stack, utilising cloud services to support backend development, API performance, and system reliability. You will apply industry‑standard information security principles, frameworks, and secure coding practices to ensure all backend components are robust and compliant. Automated testing will play a central role in your development approach, ensuring backend systems are resilient, scalable, and production‑ready.

This role allows you to influence backend architecture, improve cloud utilisation, and enhance engineering excellence across the team.
