Senior Software Engineer - .Net, AWS

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our high‑performing technology team, playing a key role in designing and delivering mission‑critical systems that directly support the generation and distribution of clean energy across the country. As a Senior Engineer, you will work closely with business stakeholders and cross‑functional development teams to architect and implement scalable, cloud‑native applications. You will bring technical leadership and sound engineering judgment to solution design, roadmap planning, and delivery activities, while maintaining hands‑on involvement across the full application lifecycle. In this position, you will take responsibility for shaping end‑to‑end application workflows, designing and implementing features across both client‑side and server‑side components, and integrating with major data platforms including MongoDB and Oracle. Your work will involve optimising performance, ensuring system scalability, managing third‑party integrations, and resolving technical issues across multiple layers of the stack. You will also play a core role in strengthening our CI/CD automation, infrastructure‑as‑code practices, and cloud deployment capabilities using GitLab and Terraform.

Beyond technical contribution, you will help drive engineering standards and continuous improvement across the team. This includes participating in Agile ceremonies, supporting code reviews, maintaining high‑quality documentation, and championing best practices such as SOLID principles, clean code methodologies, and modern design patterns. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and to mentor junior engineers will be critical to success in this role.
