Senior Wintel Engineer

Join our engineering team supporting a global defence manufacturing client. We're looking for an enthusiastic Senior WINTEL Engineer who excels at creating innovative solutions, resolving complex issues, and collaborating effectively within a team environment.

You'll take on diverse responsibilities across system engineering, infrastructure design, and technical project delivery, working on multiple projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform system engineering and administration for core operating systems
• Design Windows Server and Client gold builds and templates for automated deployments
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to streamline build and administration tasks
• Design and implement technical infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements
• Lead and support IT projects including system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues
• Create detailed documentation for installations, configurations, and OS builds
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize on-premise and cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers
• Drive continuous operational improvements across the end-to-end lifecycle
