Panel Management Analyst team of our Statistical Operation department.

The position is responsible for ensuring the continuous maintenance, accuracy, and completeness of the databases that define Nielsen markets universes. These datasets consist of detailed establishment address lists enriched with all relevant characteristics required for analytical, operational, and strategic purposes.

 

Key responsibilities include:

· Monitor and investigate market updates: Continuously track new openings, closures, and relevant changes across the market using all available sources, including reception inputs, retailer lists, online platforms, and other verified channels.

· Maintain data accuracy across universes: Ensure that all received information is properly linked to the market universes, assigning and validating the correct codes for smooth integration into NIQ systems and analytical tools.

· Collaborate with Retailer Services: Engage proactively with Retailer Services teams to facilitate information exchange, strengthen relationships, and support the quality of retailer-provided data.

· Serve as the central point of contact: Act as the reference for all inquiries related to universes and retailer information, including data reception processes, formatting requirements, and treatment rules.

· Support cross-functional teams: Work closely with Local SMEs, vendors, and BAU teams to address questions, provide technical support, and ensure alignment regarding universes, characteristics, and data standards.

 

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

· Italian mandatory as natural language

· Fluency in English - written is a must

· Knowledge about Italia Geography

· Working knowledge of Excel, Access, MS Office

· Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail

· Experience in handling, manipulating, and analyzing data. Feel the numbers.

· Problem-solving - must be able to stay calm under pressure and look for solutions to unexpected problems

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting

· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work in a cross-functional environment with multiple interacting teams

· Ability to adapt to changes in real-time and ensure plans are going as per schedule

· Ability to document work and effectively prioritize documentation tasks
