Advanced Neurology of Colorado (ANC) is currently hiring an Infusion Nurse to join our team at our new Denver Metro location in Lone Tree, CO! As an infusion nurse you will provide safe and effective infusion therapy to patients in an outpatient clinical setting. This role focuses on patient assessment, IV access, medication administration, and ongoing monitoring to support positive clinical outcomes.

Job Title: Infusion Coordinator

Job Summary: The Infusion Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end order processing for infusion services including order intake, chart review, insurance eligibility, drug ordering, patient scheduling, and ensuring timely processing of infusion appointments for an assigned physician office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform intake duties for infusion orders including creating patient charts, reviewing and entering orders, obtaining clinical requirements, and communicating with prescribers regarding required clinical documentation.

  • Verify insurance eligibility, obtain clinical requirements for authorizations, and track patients’ progress.

  • Communicate with patients and providers regarding the status of infusion order.

  • Perform or assist with enrollment of eligible patients into manufacturer copay assistance programs and/or foundations.

  • Educate patients concerning pre/post-infusion expectations and answer questions regarding patient appointments.

  • Schedule patient appointments for infusion services.

  • Coordinate drug orders prior to infusion appointments.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include superior interpersonal and patient contact skills and excellent telephone manners.

  • Minimum of one year of experience with patient scheduling and insurance verification for medical services with general knowledge of ICD10 and CPT codes. Infusion experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation review

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented

  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced setting

  • Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
