About the role
The Data Analyst will serve as the bridge between raw data and strategic execution. You will not only extract and clean data but also translate complex datasets into clear, visual narratives that help our leadership team make high-stakes decisions. You will be the "owner" of our data integrity and the primary architect of our internal reporting.
Data Retrieval & Optimization: Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries (PostgreSQL/Mongo DB) to extract data from various schemas.
Dashboard Development: Build and maintain automated, self-service dashboards in Power BI, and Google Sheets that track real-time business performance.
Process Automation: Use Python (Pandas/NumPy) to automate manual reporting tasks and clean messy datasets.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to define KPIs and ensure data alignment across departments.
What you'll do
- Create data processing pipelines to send and receive external data and process into manageable form.
- Clean data and write ETL processes.
- Work with the various Nox Health teams to build metrics and detail to allow better management of the business
- Collaborate with product management and engineering departments to understand company needs and devise possible solutions
- Communicate results and ideas to key decision makers
- Optimize joint development efforts through appropriate database use and project design
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years Python/Panda experience.
- Comfortable working in the Linux environment
- Practical experience with ETL, data processing, database programming and data analytics.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on data discovery and exploration.
- SQL and NoSQL databases experience.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Healthcare Claims, CBT codes, and how claims are processed
- Experience using AWS services: Redshift, S3
