Job Overview

The Sr. Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing strategic accounts and driving business acquisition within a across all categories channels. With a strong background in sales, operations, and supply chain management, this role focuses on portfolio management, demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics optimization to support both sales growth and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of operational processes, supply chain dynamics, and account management, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, inventory, and fulfillment to meet customer needs.

Remote position with around 50% travel requirements

Responsibilities: 

  •  Business Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement short- and mid-term business strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Forecasting & Demand Planning: Utilize market trends, historical data, and customer insights to develop accurate sales forecasts and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Account & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key global accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering long-term partnerships.
  •  Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive sales performance through data-driven decision-making, market analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing, promotions, and distribution.
  • Operations & Supply Chain Coordination: Leverage operational expertise to streamline inventory management, logistics, and order fulfillment, reducing inefficiencies and enhancing service levels.
  • Legal Compliance & Contract Management: Collaborate closely with the sales, production, and quality teams to ensure all contracts adhere to company guidelines and regulatory requirements. Safeguard the company's interests by meticulously reviewing and negotiating terms, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting the achievement of business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, finance, and operations to execute account-specific initiatives and develop strategies that enhance market penetration and brand visibility.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), create sales reports, and present insights to senior leadership to ensure transparency and accountability in achieving targets.
