Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
Contract Mid-Senior levelJob Overview
Real opportunities. Real impact. Your career, redefined.
(NOTE: A human reviews every application at Oceans, so please apply for only one position and only once a year—if you're a better fit for another role, we’ll route your application accordingly and if we’re not quite ready for you, we’ll reach back out later).
At Oceans, we help the best and brightest of Sri Lanka to take advantage of opportunities that otherwise wouldn’t be available to them, while supporting entrepreneurs around the world. Our community (we call them Divers) don’t do surface work—they go deep to solve complex challenges and make a real impact. And in doing so, they support bold ideas and expand their skills, broaden their expertise, and grow their careers, all without having to leave family and friends.
As a Senior TA Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our candidate evaluation process is consistent and fair. Your ability to assess talent, support hiring teams, and maintain high-quality candidate experiences will directly impact the caliber of talent we bring into Oceans and into our client ecosystems.
This role calls for strong recruitment knowledge, keen attention to detail, and a confident, professional on-screen presence. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our global hiring operations.
Accountability
Your success as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be measured by the quality, efficiency, and consistency of your hiring outcomes — ensuring every candidate has an excellent experience while meeting client and internal hiring needs.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Serve as the first point of contact for potential candidates.
- Identify, attract, and engage both active and passive candidates across multiple channels (LinkedIn, niche job boards, and social media).
- Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline to meet current and future hiring needs.
- Leverage feedback from hiring managers to refine sourcing strategies and improve candidate quality.
Recruitment Operations & Coordination
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle — from posting roles to candidate onboarding.
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to review candidate data, track progress, and maintain data accuracy.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring seamless scheduling and communication.
- Measure key recruitment metrics such as conversion rates, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness.
Stakeholder & Candidate Experience
- Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
- Maintain transparent, professional communication with candidates throughout the process.
- Foster long-term relationships with both current employees and potential candidates to strengthen Oceans’ talent network.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting Oceans’ mission, culture, and values at every stage of the candidate journey.
Colleagues
You’ll collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure recruitment excellence and alignment with organizational objectives.
This role reports to the Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition, with mentorship and strategic guidance from the Head of Talent Acquisition.
