Purpose of the job:

Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of client entities while building your expertise in financial reporting, management accounts and client accounting. You'll work closely with clients, auditors and colleagues across multiple jurisdictions, delivering high-quality accounting services that help clients meet their reporting obligations and achieve their objectives.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Take ownership of the preparation of financial statements and management accounts for a diverse portfolio of client entities.
• Apply your technical accounting knowledge to deliver accurate reporting in line with relevant accounting standards and deadlines.
• Perform and review bank, investment and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure data integrity and financial accuracy.
• Prepare and review VAT returns and other accounting deliverables, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, auditors and internal stakeholders to support the smooth delivery of accounting services.
• Review client deliverables and provide guidance to junior colleagues, helping to develop capability across the team.
• Support audit processes by coordinating responses to auditor queries and ensuring information is provided efficiently.
• Contribute to the coaching and development of junior team members through knowledge sharing and day-to-day support.
• Maintain high-quality working papers and supporting documentation in line with internal standards and procedures.
• Support ad hoc projects, process improvements and initiatives that enhance client service and operational efficiency.
