Job Overview

Purpose of the Job

Are you an experienced AML professional looking to combine regulatory expertise, client leadership and commercial influence in a senior role? We're looking for a Senior Vice President to play a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of our Asset Management Services business in the Cayman Islands.

Acting as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients, you'll serve as the Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer (AMLCO) and the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) or Deput MLRO (DMLRO) and will be accountable for AMLCO service operations and service standards while helping clients navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment. Beyond compliance oversight, you'll build strong client relationships, contribute to business growth and help shape the future of our AML compliance offering.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with sophisticated clients and make a visible impact on both client outcomes and business success.

Main Responsibilities

Client Management:

  • Serve as the designated AMLCO, MLRO, and/or DMLRO across a book of client entities, including funds and structured finance vehicles.
  • Develop and sustain comprehensive policies, procedures, systems, and controls to ensure compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering Regulations (Revised) of the Cayman Islands.
  • Oversee and test AML/KYC procedures at the client entity level, including adequate policies, KYC documentation, and training programs.
  • Prepare and present the annual and interim AMLCO Reports at board meetings.
  • Act as the client relationship manager for client entities, and as the primary point of contact for relevant authorities.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the Cayman Islands Financial Reporting Authority (FRA) in connection with suspicious activity reporting obligations, maintain logs of SAR filings, provide training, and AML audits and oversee record-keeping systems that meet both internal policy standards and relevant regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and support - providing guidance, mentorship and technical expertise that promotes excellence in client service and compliance delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture that encourages professional development, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Drive high standards of performance, accountability and service quality across the team.

Client Relationship Management and Financial Oversight

  • Identify and develop opportunities to grow client relationships, expand service offerings and support the continued growth of the Asset Management Services business.
  • Represent the business at industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings, helping strengthen market presence and develop new business opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage the financial performance of your client portfolio, supporting profitability, billing activities and effective management of receivables.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities, using commercial insight to support sustainable growth and operational success.
