DevOps Engineer (Mid to Senior)
Location: Aarhus, Denmark (Hybrid – min. 1 day/week in-office)
GameScorekeeper provides the world's largest esports database to industry giants like DraftKings and PrizePicks. Following our acquisition by Oddin.gg (headquartered in Prague) in 2025, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team.
You will work on our existing high-performance data feeds and aid in our integration into the Oddin.gg ecosystem. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who will ensure our systems are scalable and reliable as we continue to grow.
The Role
You will take ownership of our infrastructure and work closely with our development team in Aarhus and the broader engineering group in Prague. Your primary focus will be on ensuring our deployment pipelines are seamless and our uptime is consistent.
Key Responsibilities
Systems reliability: Plan and implement reliability improvements to our existing systems.
CI/CD & Automation: Maintain and optimize our Docker-based deployment workflows on GitHub and AWS.
Reliability & Monitoring: Manage our SQL databases (mainly MySQL) to ensure data integrity and high availability for our clients.
Collaboration: Act as the DevOps link between GameScorekeeper’s Aarhus-based team and the Oddin.gg infrastructure team.
On-Call Support: Participate in a rotation to ensure our 24/7 mission-critical data feeds remain operational.
What You Bring
Experience: At least 2-3 years of professional experience in a DevOps role or equivalent.
The Core Stack: Strong proficiency with Docker, AWS, GitHub, SQL, and to some extent Java.
Communication: Fluent in English; you’re comfortable discussing complex infrastructure with both local developers and international stakeholders.
Proactive Mindset: You are able to identify potential issues and implement solutions to improve system reliability and scalability.
