THE POSITION

The Area Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the finance operations for multiple properties within the German region, ensuring that all financial processes are compliant with regulatory standards and align with corporate objectives. The successful candidate will provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting, and budgeting efforts of the company.

 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the financial operations of multiple hotel properties in Germany, including financial reporting, data analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls.

  • Implement and maintain comprehensive financial management systems to improve financial efficiencies.

  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the management team and hotel general managers.

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process with external auditors.

  • Develop and manage financial plans and budgets, monitor progress and changes, and produce financial reports analysing variances.

  • Supervise and mentor finance staff responsible for the region, ensuring professional growth and effective contribution to the organization.

  • Maintain strong relationships with all senior managers, stakeholders, and external partners.

  • Support new property acquisitions and integration into corporate financial systems and standards.
