Junior Economists
Full-time Entry LevelJob Overview
The Economics Department is looking for highly motivated junior economists to join our Paris-based office and carry out policy-oriented research on macroeconomic and structural issues. They will draft analytical reports, country and policy reports, and undertake empirical analysis on a wide range of economic topics. They will also interact with a broad array of stakeholders, including governments, academia and other international organisations.

The selected persons will work under the supervision of a Senior Economist.
Main Responsibilities
Research and drafting
- Undertake research and contribute to the production of documents, working papers and publications, including drafting notes and preparing technical annexes.
Empirical work and analysis
- Carry out statistical and applied econometric work.
- Review documentation and survey economic research on a wide range of economic topics.
- Use and/or establish programs and procedures in various software packages to allow statistical and econometric analysis, as well as the production of tables and graphs.
Data collection
- Collect information and data from relevant sources for the purpose of compiling specific databases.
- Check the data to ensure reliability and comparability.
